What is a mystery mosaic coloring book?
A mystery mosaic is a color-by-number puzzle printed as a grid of small numbered squares. There is no outline drawing to follow — you simply colour each square the colour its number tells you to, and a hidden picture gradually appears. It combines the calm of adult coloring with the pull of a puzzle.
Do I need special pencils or markers?
No. Every One Square More book is designed around an ordinary 12 to 24 colour pencil set. Gel pens and fine-tip markers work too, and because pages are printed single-sided, nothing bleeds through onto the next puzzle.
Are these books suitable for children?
Most are. Mystery Mosaic Fantasy, the Halloween Haunted Edition and 100 Animals are family-friendly and work well from roughly age 8 upward. Cozy Cats uses an easy-symbol key and is the gentlest starting point. The books labelled “for adults” are not unsuitable for children — they simply use denser grids.
