A mystery mosaic is a color-by-number puzzle printed as a grid of small numbered squares instead of an outline drawing. You colour each square the colour its number specifies, and a hidden picture appears as you work. There is nothing to draw and no colour choices to make.

Yes. Every page carries its own numbered colour key, and the instruction never changes: match the number, fill the square. Cozy Cats Pixel Mysteries is the gentlest starting point because it uses larger tiles and an easy-symbol key.

Most titles suit roughly age 8 and up. Fantasy, Halloween and 100 Animals are explicitly family-friendly. Books described as being for adults use denser grids and more colours, not different subject matter.

All titles are 8.5 x 11 inches (21.6 x 27.9 cm), printed on one side of the page only.

Every design is printed single-sided, so even if a marker bleeds it will not damage another puzzle. We still recommend a scrap sheet underneath when using alcohol markers.

Yes. Single-sided printing means removing a finished mosaic never destroys a second design.

An ordinary 24-colour pencil set covers every key we publish. Fine-tip markers and gel pens also work well. Keeping your pencil sharp matters more for the finished look than how expensive it is.

Typically 45 to 90 minutes, often across two or three sittings. You can stop at any square without losing your place.
